Dr. Mukurdipi Ray is a teacher, guide and examiner of MCh, DNB (Surgical Oncology) and PhD. His self-designed popular technique on groin dissection published in World Journal of Methodology and Results of 105 cases published in World Journal of Surgery. He conceptualized and designed various techniques in Surgical Oncology. He coined the term Red Alert Zone, High Alert Zone, Bowled out phenomena, Staged HIPEC in the field of cancer. He published more than 100 national and international scientific papers, special emphasized on Peritoneal Surface Malignancies -both clinical and molecular. Authored of renowned surgery books: (i) Gateway to success in surgery by Jaypee Brothers Medical Publishers; (ii) Gateway to operative surgery by CBS Publishers; (iii) Multi-disciplinary approach Onco Surgical Patients – by Springer; (iv) Hand book of Peritoneal Surface Malignancies, CRS and HIPEC; (v) HIPEC on Ovarian Tumour Microenvironment’ – by Lambert. Written chapters in different books. He is dedicated to many Translational research projects on oncology specially Role of HIPEC in Tumour micro environment, various clinical projects on oncology and cancer awareness drive, funded by Intramural project (AIIMS) and DST as a PI, 8 projects and Co-PI,+ 17 projects.
