Dr. Shehnaz Kantharia is a distinguished ENT and Head and Neck Surgeon with over 23 years of experience in treating diseases of the ENT and Head and Neck region. She currently serves as the Head of Clinical Research at Bankers Group of Hospitals, Manjalpur, Baroda, a role she assumed in January 2024.

Her extensive career includes nearly two decades as the Consultant and Head of the Department of ENT and Head and Neck Surgery at Kailash Cancer Hospital, Goraj (2004-2023). During her time there, she played a pivotal role in developing the Head and Neck Oncosurgery Department alongside Dr. Rajesh Kantharia.

Dr. Kantharia has been instrumental in coordinating fellowship programs in Oral and Head and Neck Oncosurgery with KLES, Belgaum, since 2018 and with the Foundation of Head and Neck Oncology (FHNO) since 2019.

In her previous role as Head of Research and Academics at Kailash Cancer Hospital, she oversaw over 70 oncology clinical trials, and the clinical trial site was successfully inspected twice by the US FDA and European Medicines Agency (EMA). She is also an active member of the Indian Society for Clinical Research, where she serves as an Ethics Council Member and has held positions as both Member Secretary and Chairperson in various Ethics Committees.

Dr. Kantharia’s work in clinical research and her leadership in oncology trials have made significant contributions to the field of head and neck surgery and clinical research in India.
