About
Professor Michel Bourin has been a Professor of Pharmacology at the University of Nantes since 1985. He holds advanced degrees in neuropsychopharmacology, clinical pharmacology, and general pharmacology and has undergone psychiatric training. His research focuses on the neurobiology of anxiety and depression, earning him international recognition.
He has served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Edmonton and a Visiting Professor at the University of Craiova. Honored with Doctor Honoris Causa degrees from the University of Tartu and the University of Craiova, he currently practices psychiatry at a center for adults with mental disabilities in Montredon.
With over 300 original research publications and 250 review papers, Professor Bourin has made significant contributions to psychopharmacology.
