About
Dr. Shupei Zhang is a neuroscientist specializing in ex vivo brain perfusion, neurodegenerative diseases, and brain preservation. She hold a Ph.D. in Genetics from Yale School of Medicine, where her research focused on developing perfusion technologies to sustain large mammalian brain viability and investigating molecular mechanisms of ischemic injury and recovery. Her work integrates bioengineering, functional genomics, and regenerative medicine to explore novel approaches for studying brain function and disease progression.
