Intracerebral Stroke
An intracerebral stroke is a type of hemorrhagic stroke that occurs due to the blowout of an artery within the brain, leading to free bleeding into the brain tissue. This causes destruction of the brain cells and results in pressure, leading to severe problems with body speed, speech, and thought.
Hypertension is the most common cause of intracerebral stroke, which slowly destroys blood vessels. The other causes include head injury, blood-bodies drugs, or medical illnesses such as brain tumors or unusual blood vessels.
Symptoms generally onset suddenly and may include extremely poor headache, weakness or numbness (especially on one side of the body), confusion, discomfort, speaking or comprehension, vision problems and loss of balance. The patient may lose consciousness in more severe cases.
intracerebral stroke is a medical emergency. Treatment will help prevent bleeding, relieve pressure on the brain and aid breathing and heart function. Surgery is sometimes required to drain blood that has built up.
Prevention of hypertension and an active lifestyle can reduce intracerebral stroke risk.
