Behavioral Psychology

The Behavioral Psychology session explains how our actions are influenced by the world around us, our past experiences, and our inner needs. It focuses on the idea that behavior is a response to different signals or situations, and that learning happens through forming habits and adjusting to change. The session engages in mechanisms such as reinforcement, punishment, conditioning, and

extinction – how they affect both voluntary and involuntary behavior. It examines social reference, culture, genetics, neurological processes and effects of physical physiology on behavior. Psychologists apply experimental techniques, questionnaires and case studies to uncover the psychological basic behavior causes. Practical uses include treating psychological disorders, managing addiction and developing plans to motivate or control behavior in education and the workplace. The session gives an insight into learning processes, behavioral changes and directed environmental interventions, which can easily control human behavior.
