Translational research

Translational research is a bridge between laboratory discoveries and real -world patient care. It begins with scientists – such as biologists and chemists – working in the laboratory to develop new equipment, medicines or surgical ideas. These early findings are then further tested to find out how they work, what doses are safe, and whether they can help people, often through clinical trials. Translations bring experts from various fields together – doctors, researchers and other experts – to speed up this process. It often focuses on specific groups, such as on special groups such as elderly or children, or in particular areas like cancer. Ultimately, its goal is to convert scientific successes into practical medical remedies that improve health and save life.
