Dr. Raber, a Long Beach native, is a 1975 graduate of the University of Southern California School of Pharmacy. During his professional career which spans over 40 years, he has been a practicing clinical pharmacist, a hospital pharmacy director, a regional hospital pharmacy administrator, and a consultant in private practice.

Dr. Raber is a member of the faculty at the University of Southern California School of Pharmacy where he teaches classes in site-specific pharmacy practice, pharmacy standards of care, and pharmacy law. He is also a faculty member of PBI Education, a Jacksonville, Florida-based company specializing in continuing education and license remediation for healthcare professionals, where he teaches classes in pharmacy law and ethics.

Dr. Raber is an active member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, California Society of Health-System Pharmacists, Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy, American College of Clinical Pharmacy, American Medical Writers Association, American Society for Healthcare Risk Management, Southern California Association for Healthcare Risk Management, and the American Society for Pharmacy Law.
