Policies for Authors: 

PubScholars Group encourages authors to go through all necessary verification checks before submitting the manuscript, cite information correctly, avoid any false information, trademark content, web images, and plagiarism, and refrain from submitting one manuscript in two journals, it is considered an unethical process under the board. Make required changes in raw data to ensure the manuscript follows all the ethics.

Ethical Guidelines for Editors:

Editors are the central bridge of the publication process, they communicate with the author, reviewers, readers, and the editorial team to maintain the quality standards of the articles published in the journal. 

They are responsible for appointing the required number of reviewers to provide views on the manuscript depending on the field of research, additionally, they collect views from readers, fellow editors, or editor-in-chief.

Editors are prohibited from discussing any information of the journal with outside sources except authors who have submitted their manuscripts.

Guidelines for Journal Editor

  1. The editor’s key responsibility is to assign a reviewer according to the field of study or topic and look after the whole peer review process to ultimately accept or reject the manuscript.
  2. To ensure unbiased and relevant decision editors who take the opinions of at least two reviewers or discuss with other editors regarding the authenticity and remit of the journal before making the final call
  3. To maintain the standard of content the editor should be open to views from fellow editors, readers, and reviews and highlight any fault during the peer review process.
  4.  The editor should provide fair feedback to the author free from any personal interest or beliefs and can recommend other journals for publication if their journal doesn't fit the research.
  5. An editorial should be provided every 6 months to highlight research trends and relevant questions.
  6. The editor is considered accountable for the content of the journal.

Guidelines for Reviewers 

  • Preserve the confidentiality of the data by restraining from sharing any internal information regarding the manuscript with another party without any prior notice.
  • Decline the review request in case of insufficient expertise 
  • Provide constructive criticism and positive feedback as necessary.
  • Provide verified sources and credible judgment for your reviews.
  • Avoid unethical and biased practices.
  • Notify the editor in case of any conflict.
  • Adhere to the deadlines for a smooth and timely publication process.

Once submitted your manuscript goes through a few steps of verification to maintain authenticity. Starting with the Journal Editor who checks it for plagiarism. It is to be noted by all the authors that your work should only carry abstracts from already existing content or else it will be rejected.

Submitting manuscripts states that you’re through with all mandatory guidelines and that your work is solely reviewed by PubScholars Group and is not a part of any already existing publication.

3 Broad Sections of The Manuscript 

Outline for the Initial Section : 

  1. Title Page: Titles, authors, and affiliation 
  2. Abstract: synopsis of your work in 300 words. Provide the reason and concept of your work to the reader
  3. Keywords: Include 5 keywords in your manuscript to reach the target audience 
  4. Abbreviations: define at first mention of the text 
  5. Introduction: briefly provide the vision and background of your work and its relevancy  

Outline for the Middle Section: 

  • Materials and Methods: Avoid using trademark items and web images. Provided methods and materials should highlight the content they’re referring to in detail.
    1. Results: The use of tables, graphs, and figures is advised to support the precise result of the study 
  • Discussion: Using subsections and subheadings to explain and compare your work to previous studies to conclude, using relevant references and resources is mandatory.
  • Conclusion: explain the importance of the study, why it be taken forward, and why the awareness regarding it is important additionally summarize the whole study to create a meaningful conclusion.

Outline for the End Section: 

  • Acknowledgments: Mention disclaimer, conflict of interest, funding resources, additional resources, In case of no conflicting interest, the author can declare themselves as of no competing financial interest.

References: Correctly numbered references that are verified by the Digital Object Identifier (DOI), found online should be cited. Avoid included references from manuscripts that are yet to be verified.

Author Policy 

The author should ensure that they have verified all the content, and references, and agreed to all the statements and pieces of evidence, if any. The corresponding author is solely responsible for any or all the communication and exchange of work between the journal and co-authors including the author list and informing and gaining acceptance from all of them before submitting the manuscript. 

Authorship

Authorship is based on the contribution to the articles and position in the author list. Author sequence in the list should be given according to their part of the research, work hours, and other intellectual material provided. 

It is solely the author’s responsibility to inform the journal editor or the editorial team regarding any error or false information mentioned in the article before it is processed to be published. The journal author doesn’t take any responsibility to correct any information in the content.

Reporting Standards 

In case of publishing any results, the author is obliged to present the clinical trial or the process of the result to support the outcome and avoid any false information. Any data found to be proven unethical or a part of a fraud will be denied from publishing. Make sure your work is presently in the correct order to help others take inspiration. 

Originality and Acknowledgement of Sources

Authenticity and credibility of the work are highly monitored, ensuring that all references are mentioned correctly and avoiding submission of the same manuscript twice as it may lead to unethical practices and several other consequences.  

Fundamental Errors in Published Works

It the solely the author’s duty to report any error and provide revised informational to the journal editor, team, or the publisher.

  • The typical responsibility of an editor is the management of the peer review of manuscripts by reviewers so editor should always be available to take complete responsibility and authority to accept a submitted paper for publication or to reject it.
  • Based on the field of research (or) subject, editor will assign submitted manuscript to a reviewer for the peer review process.
  • Editors should ideally consider at least two reviewers comments on a paper to make a decision and may confer with other editors or editor-in-chief for an evaluation to use in making this decision.
  • An editor should give unbiased consideration to all manuscripts offered for publication, judging each on its relevance to the remit of the journal, originality and scientific merits without regard to their personal interest, race, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy of the author(s)
  • Editors should actively seek the views of authors, readers, reviewers and other editorial board members about ways of improving their journal’s processes to attract high-quality submissions.
  • Editors should monitor the performance of peer reviewers and also should ready to justify any important deviation from the described peer review process
  • Should write an editorial for every 6 months based on current trends of the research field which Journal deals with.
  • Ensures feedback provided to authors is constructive, fair, and timely.
  • Can suggest appropriate Journal for authors, if the article is not within the scope Journal.
