About
Dr. Mohammad Qassim Abdallah is a distinguished professor specializing in Clinical Psychology and Mental Health. With a PhD and Clinical Psychology DSc from the Hungarian Academy of Science, University of Budapest, he has dedicated over three decades to academic and administrative roles in Syrian higher education. He is currently a professor in the Department of Counseling Psychology at the University of Aleppo, where he also served as Vice President and Dean.
Dr. Abdallah’s expertise spans various psychological disciplines, including psychopathology, child and adolescent mental health, psychotherapy, personality theories, and research methodology. He has published extensively in leading international journals and authored several influential books on psychology, psychotherapy, and educational sociology. Dr. Abdallah is actively involved in academic research, ethical guidelines for psychological practice, and has contributed significantly to conferences and workshops in the fields of psychology and education.
In addition to his teaching and research, Dr. Abdallah is a respected member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Psychological Association, and holds editorial roles in various prestigious journals. His scientific interests are centered on clinical psychology, mental health, behavioral science, and the ethical dimensions of research. Fluent in Arabic and advanced in English, Dr. Abdallah continues to be a leading figure in advancing psychological science and education both locally and internationally.
