Yiwen Chen

Biography:
Dr. Chen obtained his PhD in Physics with a focus on Biophysics in 2007. After over one year’s postdoctoral fellowship supervised by Dr. Norbert Perrimon at HHMI and Harvard Medical School in U.S., he joined Dr. Shirley Liu’s lab at Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard School of Public Health. He joined the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in 2015 and was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in 2022. Based on Goolge Scholar, he has published ~70 paper with a total number of citations of ~16,000 and H-index of 44.
